How can I stop this cheater? I have deleted his account but he keeps sending 1000's of hits and his bot must be able to click through! Because I see the same traffic come through to my other sites that I trade with. This is going to make me look like I am cheating but im not.. any ideas how to stop this? My trades are going to die due to this asshole! The prod on my other sites from (my site that is being cheated) is like 3%! Im sure it looks the same on all my other trades..

Guess I have to wait it out or what?

You can block his site with htaccess. Don't ask me how because I don't that code here.

I dont think you can block his site. the hitbot probably uses proxy connections so you are pretty much screwed. did you tell him to fuck off?

I guess, that what is similar in all those fake hits, that are sent to you, is their referer.
So due to this fact you can try the following trick
First of all, you should check 2 things:
1. Are you allowed to put allow deny directives into .htaccess file (AllowOverride Limit)
2. if the module mod_serenvif.c is compiled into your httpd

If both of them are ok (on most web servers they are), insert the following into your .htaccess file

SetEnvIf Referer www\.hisdomain.\.com cheater
Order allow,deny
allow from all
deny from env=cheater

Same shit happened to me dude. It sucks.These cheaters are becoming better and better,Unfortunately the script writers need to do more to stop this.

I think TwinTone is speaking of me. He contacted me and accused me of hit botting him. I am not.

I too use a free script and have not really worked at my site in a few weeks. I believe I too am being cheated. I think someone is hit botting my out script.

I have had 10K of traffic the past month but I must be getting cheated cause I have not made a penny off of it.
