Hey!
100$ for 100Gb bandwith
I see raq3 is 32mb, but its not bad for html pages http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
is that possible?
server + bandwith only 100 bucks!
That is a pretty bare bones raq3 though... And to get all the good stuff installed "mySQL,PHP and so on" is close to $200 EACH.. Not worth it in my opinion. I paid $1200 for my Raq3 and to get all the same software installed cost me nuthing. I just need to find some cheap co-lo! http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

but ron you don't need all the extras for tgp galleries
Hmm gallery posting on a RAQ3 with 32MB RAM? Sorry to disappoint you but the OS already takes away 2-4MB of these 32mb and each apache process needs about 1.5mb memory. At peak times you'll need 100 apache processes though, so you shouldn't expect too good performance.
I see upgrade to 128 ram is only 111$ onetime setup fee
raq3 with 128 ram is enough for galleries and small CJ sites I think
and you can install mysql and php yourself I think. There is Raq3 binaries on the net (I remember I see this for MySQL)
The 4webspace RAQ is definitely a very good deal, and it's for real. They are a subsidiary of tera-byte.com, a canadian ISP with good reputation. As already mentioned you can upgrade to 256 or even 512 MB RAm for a one time fee. Also, you can add MySQL and Php and anything else you want your OWN for free.
I had one there and canceled again, but that was because I'm going to do some nasty stuff with Apache and php etc. and the RAQ won't let me do that so easily. And I have a vast amount of domains so I needed something else. The RAQ3 can host more than 200 domains but it's a pain ion the ass to set them all up. Other than that, 4webspace has decent connectivity and their staff is responsive. They DO allow adult stuff although they do not mention it anywhere on their web site.
Overage taffic is $3 but if you run over 100 GB you could as well get another RAQ3. Additional IP's are $10/month for each 32 block. That is reasonable I'd say. They had some connectivity problems right after they started because they did get LOTS of customers, but I believe they are resolved now. As far as I know, most of their traffic goes over a big Sprint pipe.

Currently im using the RAQ3 for 100 bucks.
It works just fine but on the other hand im a low traffic site.
Although i had no experience with ded. servers it was setup in a hour.
I really think its a good option for small traffic sites that dont need PHP and all that stuff.
setup in one hour? Wow what a nice speed http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif)
Raq servers has web based administrator control panel. This makes everything easy. So if you don't know any Linux knowledge and want a dedicated server, raq servers is fine for you
I bought a server from them 3 days ago .
my advice , ask a server with at least 128M ram .
i did this mistake and ordered 32M ram , and the server almost crashed after driving 200 hits in 3 minutes to it .
