HELP

I have some ICQ problems
I run ICQ 99b
and everytime I wanna send a message it crashes and wants to convert the database
but then I loose somehow 70% of my contacts
I can still get in it but cant perfrom any action
I have a backup rom some time ago
( some contacts mising but I will re add them)
but I cant add the whole 600 contacts by hand
so what can I do?
It happened already sometimes before
but then I copied my old ICQ over it ( or the DB ) and all worked fine
but this time if I copy it over I cant even get in anymore
I see the starting symbol o ICQ and then it disappears without any notice
OR it says something like "cant create ined o database"

th but got it fixed myslef after some time
still lost some contacts and had to readd them by hand

I have 813 people in my icq 2000 with no problems. Try 2000 chris

I got about 250 in there no problems so far, except i dont remeber half of these people. 2000 is good but it eats alot of ram.

well 99b worked always fine
I tried 2000 but dint like it much
my ICQ directory has about 200 MB and I have no addons installed
just the pure ICQ
