Good Reliable Host ?

Hi can anyone recommend a good reliable host?
I have been using Strictlyhosting, but lately my site have suffered because of often downtimes, and other trouble with their stupid servers :-(
please help me out, it sucks when its not my own fault that my site is´nt doing so well.

Try Interaid.com, or Bluegarvity.com (Band Width is kinda expensive at BG though)

Or give Servint.com a try, they only charge $2.75/gig, but i have no idea how they are for uptime, i am moving a site of mine to them on Thursday.

Yea man, Bluegravity are sweet.

We got a dedicated with them, and its blisteringly fast - connected to a 200mbit/sec line, only running at like 50mbits/sec.....fasssstt.

They went down last week - but that is becasue their ISP fucked them over - hence the awesome speed we get now.

Customer service is impecable, speed is super-lush, and hey - when you can talk to the company's CEO over ICQ, well, what more can you ask for.

If any guys fancy a bluegravity account, give me an ICQ 41012160 and i can tell you exactly how good they are, and who to contact for our type of sites.

I use strictlyhosting and I have had no problems. Servers are fast and bandwidth is reasonable. And al4a and ampland use them so they can't be wrong. Just my 2 cents.

It definitely was a bad week for strictly hosting this week. I had 3 ucj-c VIII installs on 3 different servers of theirs and all 3 sites were having server troubles. However in the past I heard mostly good reports about them. Most hosts do have their ups and downs. And remember something always has to give in the price / performance equation.

I started with servint... was happy..

tried moving to another server then, (better price, and was a guy I knew) but keep having cptr probs there, and I think it's killing my sites (from 35K to undfer 10 now :'( ) so I'm moving back to servint...

the speed is quite good... but the stability, the uptime and the TECH SUPPORT, especially the support, is incredible... responses in the same day ALWAYS... usually within 1-2 Hours, a lot of time within 30 mins :-)

take a dedicated server there... it's like under 2K for 2mbps... you can build your own killer machine too...

if you go, say I sent ya....

I have to agree with Magnatique.

ServInt has been very good to me. I just got a dedicated server and so far the machine has been up for 26 days straight. Not bad. The only thing I don't like is that it's ONE IP address for the whole damn machine.
