Muff said it right. Instead of bitching it would be best to give advice and feedback on how this place could possibly make a better name for itself.

In my opinion the number 1 thing that the majority of the people on this board have to do is start treating this business like a BUSINESS! If you are going to be a part of the industry and make positive contributions (and make good money for long periods of time) it is very important that you act like a businessman.

We all know times are tougher now. It is harder to get signups now than it was 2 years ago. When the going gets tough the tough get going, right? I also know that when the going gets tough the cheaters also get going. It is no secret that with it being tougher to get signups and make money more people will try to bend the rules and try to make money or get traffic any way possible. This is wrong. And this is why this board has a bad name. Some of those people hang out here and it is ok. You have the hun who has one guy that is trying to make bank off his name and another guy that submitted a gallery and then pulled the pics to send his site hits. Both of those guys should be banned from this board.

Anybody who wants to cheat, bend rules, steal, FUCK YOU! Leave here. That is what has to happen. Get rid of the shit that is hanging out here and have only quality, honest people willing to work their ass off to make money. There is enough money for everybody. There is no need to steal and cheat. There is enough traffic for everyone. But the lowlifes and scumbags that find it appropriate to cheat and steal are what ruin it for everybody. You have cheaters coming on here whining about not getting paid then you find out they BLATANTLY cheated a program. If you are an honest webmaster and want to advertise a sponsor in a way that doesn't seem to be exactly what they accept, email them. Ask them first. Tell them you have an idea that may be able to make you both more money. Get their approval first instead of working secretly on it for a month. Making $2k and then not getting paid for it. ALWAYS GET APPROVAL and try to create a good relationship with your sponsor, VERY IMPORTANT!

I think anybody who is found to be a cheater should be told to leave this board.
And for the rest? Let's all get serious. There is alot of money to be made. But you have to take yourself seriously first before anybody else will. I bring up the example again of the kid calling himself Suddam Hussein here. You think anybody will want to deal with you if you take this business as a game? Think ahead to the future. When somebody wants to be a business partner with you and they say 2 years ago i followed what you did on the AWI board. You said some dumb things. You cheated people, you acted like a kid, you burnt some bridges with some big boys. I'm sorry but I don't want to do business with someone who isn't professional about what they do. Always think ahead. Think before you post. Don't come out bashing a sponsor for being late. Find out in private when their pay periods are. Factor in where you live, add 1 week or 2 grace period. Factor in the weather or holidays. Then if after all that they are late and you seriously think something is wrong, then bring it up.

This is a business. The smart, honest, hard working webmasters will make their money. Those that want to cheat and treat this like a game? Remember this is a business and alot of us take it seriously. You fuck with the wrong person and you may regret it for a LONG LONG TIME (and i'm not just talking financially)

The New Year has started guys! We are 2001!
For my company, 2001 is going to be a HUGE FUCKIN YEAR!! I'm going to work my ass off and work hard with those honest webmasters out there. The web is huge. Big enough for us all to make TONS of money. This is a business to me and I'm in the business for one reason... TO MAKE SHITLOADS OF MONEY!!!

small adition for the newbees:
i'm new in this business too but i'd find out that nearly any adult company and webmaster reacts to your questions and comments. Even if english is not your native language or when you are asking newbee questions.

It is much safer to just ask people if your plans are ok with them than to keep quiet and try to bee smarter than them.

I can't believe this! I knew that this had to happen, but a common sense post in the AWI board? Cheers to Shap, seriously. Usually I read this board only to have fun, so imagine.
Anyway, I guess this won't last long, Shap. More than 1000 webmasters are after your ass!

Sorry but I couldn't stop the last paragraph, after all this board is meant to have fun!
