View Full Version : What happened to all the good toplists?!

I know most have switched over to TGP/PP and it's really a shame. I think bannerless, sample pictures-less, straightforward toplists like the old days would work really well with CJ. I personally hate TGP's with a passion and old time top list traffic was far better since the surfer wasn't getting sent to a site full of links to thousands of pictures. I also think toplists would be better in the long run for fresh traffic sites. I would rather send decent fresh traffic to a toplist than a TGP. Why is a surfer going to come back to my 10 pic free site when he is being sent to a site with so many more and links to tons of other TGP's???
I'd also rather send my fresh traffic to CJ sites (as long as they are not console hells). The surfer goes there and will be more likely to return to my site after as opposed to if he was sent to a TGP.

I ran a toplist a few years back before software for it was readily available and I only closed it because I grew tired ofmaintaining the counts and such without the help of a script. I think I'd like to start a new one. What script is the best???

You could give this php toplist script a try.
