Another guy has registered the word "Hun" for jewelery or what , another else for advertising services.

You can register the word "Hun" for anything else, but you can not use it as Trademark for purposes which are already registered by other people.

so whenever someone complains about hun not listing galleries, or not allowing some free hosts, well, he's got to keep up with the expectation, cuz those 1000k people trust him to do just that...

This morning I read in newspapers that some guy placed an trade mark on :-( , yea, you read it right, good old "smiley". He sued 7 000 000 surfers because they used this sign in their e-mails. MORON!

Thing is, with a lot of these trademark issues, cease and desist letters etc. it's just corporate chancers trying to shit you up into giving over an extra source of traffic. I had one such letter FedExed to me last year from a FUCKING HUGE multinational company who said that I was infringing on their trademark with one of my pornstar sites and that I should hand over the domain within two weeks blah blah blah. When I checked search totals for keywords using the GoTo search tool it showed that 60000-odd people were searching for the porn star's name and less than a thousand for their poxy product. I contacted my lawyer who drafted a letter telling them to kiss my chuddies and I've never heard a thing since.
