Hi to all!

Sort of a newbie. Been researching, learning ins and outs, scripting, graphic design, site design, etc. for a 2 years...just now got ok, and money http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif, from square fiance to go forward. Only recently found these boards. By far the best for info, I've learned things here that I have a feeling I would have only found out by trial and error. Appreciate it GREATLY. You guys/gals have made me realize you can prepare all you want you still don't know shit until you do it yourself. Ok.. enough with the gratuitous ass kissing, this may seem like a strange first question considering, but, after reading this board I realized that being a global business I needed an ICQ account. Signed up today and instantly rec'd spam after spam. At least 10 in the first 30 min. Anyway to stop this? Couldn't find any info at their site, hoping someone here would know. I would like to keep it on as I get to know others in the business for paging purposes but can not stand the constant f***ing spam. Thanks.
Signed,
Soon to be Webmistress April

Go to icq preferences
click on security & privacy
click on the ignore tab
and click on:
Do not accept Multi-Recipient Messages from all users
and don't accept wwpager messages and email express messages
if you still get spam from some people, just move them to your ignore list

Thanks Bad_dog

That's very kind of you, I think I've got it taken care of but nice to know somebody so close would be willing to help if needed. Very appreciated, wish I could return the offer but I'm quite certain there is nothing I know that you don't http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
Thanks again
