PayPal has been around for a while now..I remember the big hype when it first came out, but I haven't heard anything about them in a long time..I guess they are still alive..

just so you know, a guy tried to pay us for website design using paypal. he is in canada. they billed his credit card twice and never sent the money - he finally sent a money order.
it worked great for us a few times from people within the u.s.
also, there is a limit on the amount you can send till they get to "know" you, although this may be different if you get the business account which charges a small percent of what you send.

They're fine. "Most" ebay sellers use PayPal. So go figure :-)

I've paid people for design work and it was fine. Only concern was that it took me about three weeks to set up an account due to the fact that you need to wait for a password that is revealed in your credit card statement.

I have used paypay with ebay and have never had a problem with it. If you want to use a cc processor you can use CCBill and others alike. They all offer more then just Paysite processing. They also work for one time billing and such!
