Just thought I'd share...
I made a spreadsheet for Excel that I will use for my accounting...
Features:
Income & Tax
Income predictions (based on your sponsors)
Banking (deposits, withdrawels, balance, etc)
Credit Card expendatures
Money spent on gas each month
and other nifty stuff...
Any person who knows the basics of Excel could probably build it up to fit their exact needs... Anyways, I'm terrible with keeping track of my money and banking, so if anyone would like this file, just ICQ me for the file. 29866422

Honestly, for the price, I'd go for Quickbooks or some other commercial package. If you plan on making more than $1000 per year its a wonderful package. An excel spreadsheet will get the details done, but it won't easily be able to show you performance in terms of charts and graphs for the past month or week or whenever. And for $100, well, it's worth it.

i agree. quickbooks rocks. altho i must admit i dont use it to its potential. i really could use one of those advisor people who comes in and shows you how to setup your business, record keeping, accounting, etc...

anyone who uses quickbooks have any tips? i basically just use it to record income, expenses, and my check register... i know it can do so much more.

woof.

Hi,

I strongly recommend learning how to use Classes in quickbooks. It's an incredible feature which shows you profitability per site, how much you spend per site, how much you earn, etc.

It's not that hard to setup but it has an incredible value to me in understanding where all the money goes each month. Look it up in the help and if your still stuck ICQ me.
