They changed the nameserver section, and you can only fill out one of the fields for each nameserver???

They used to have it so you could put

ns1.host.com ip address
ns2.host.com ip address,

But now you can only put
ns1.host.com
ns2.host.com

Does this effect anything when you want to move a domain to a new host?

No,
Their system now automatically does a whois queiry on the name server and retrieves the ip#.
which is much better for everyone really.

Unless you expect to change your nameserver's IPs anytime soon.

If you just use your upstreams DNS, that is cool I guess and keeps out typos.
