This SE could outperform Google soon, the search results are better than google IMHO and they could get popular pretty soon. Can't wait to submit to them (aren't accepting submissions yet)

Google got big in about a year if I remember right? That prooved that good search results can make a SE big in no time. I BET this one will be big soon if they stay fast, clean (no sponsor shit all over the place) and maintain the same result quality with a bigger database. Just search for a few things, it's amazing, especially with one word and two word phrases.

Bad thing is, i.e. for "porn" they list almost all the tgp's out there in a row. Good from a surfer's view but...

I'm #6 on teoma for my top niche site, which I have never submitted to teoma. No traffic fom teoma that I can see - 50% of my traffic to this site is SE, mostly yahoo, google, aol, netscape, dmoz etc. I don't know where teoma got my listing from. Does anyone know if they have affiliate sites?

it seems like every 2 years another SE takes over,,,, first it was Alta Vista then Google,, its almost time for google to give up their crown

I think they got their data through fetching other SE's. This is like Fast/Alltheweb.com started 1-2 years ago, and Fast also didn't allow submissions for the first few months or so but started to take submissions after the initial period.

Yahoo doesn't mind to change their SE database supplier from time to time, and if teoma has the better results they will just replace google in a second.

google is alot better, those cached listings are really good.
