pimpserver free host --> cheats

pimpserver is cheating a lot.. i got them cheating several months ago and now they are redirecting their pages to one that only have ads. in 10 clicks, about 1 or 2 go to the ads page. :mad:

Since I could no longer view my own site on Pimpserver because I'm using a french browser (my girlfriend can't read English) and they're redirecting non-English browsers, I stop using them. I think you'll better off using bannerless free hosting from sponsors (you'll be limited to promote only that sponsors proggies) or a paid host.

Well, guarita, my point is that the owners can do what they wish, and you as a webmaster can use them or choose not to use them. ;)

shunga, i don't agree. we give them part of our traffic in exchange for hosting. a host you pay with money doesn't have the right to redirect whatever they wish. since we pay the free hosts with traffic, they don't either unless it says they can in their terms.

it isn't really 'free' if they are receiving something of value in exchange.

Correct they get ads top and bottom and i think thats plenty otherwise they just asking to get banned by the TGPs. In my view unless it strictly says we will take a % of your image views then they are stealing.

I do agree, and that's what I mean about people choosing not to use them. When a freehost uses those tactics they are basically hurting their own business in the long term, but in my experience you can't reason with them, you just have to move on.

Ok here we go again. We dont not steal traffic thats why we have so many webmasters using us. Our headers and footers where shrunk even more today. You can see an example here http://www.pimpserver.com/teen/jana/gall/teen14029.html We try to have the least amount of advertising as possible. Quotealex please backup your statement about the french browser where is it being redirected? We dont redirect any non english browsers. I would love to hear this one. The only country we blocked is Japan and you can read in our rules when you signup "12. PimpServer.com does not allow traffic that comes from Japan. Please note japans surfers will not be able to visit your pages." we did this to make the advertising smaller as those users cant read our adveritisng and cause the host to have bigger ads to pay for the bandwidth. If japense traffic is voluable to you why not signup for http://www.eroeroserver.com our japense free host with japenese advertising. We work very hard to provide good service to our webmasters and we dont apreciate the complains if you dont like something get in touch with me on icq or email and I will take care of it. Or simply use another host if you dont like ours there are a ton of them.

please, check if you have an treasonous working for you... myself got your freehost cheating lots of times, and if you have lots of people still using your host, im sure they are blind or they didnt catch you cheating yet :p

On my other mirror sites on free hosts (same site on Smutserver, sexcropolis, pornhouses, sexru), I had no problems entering my site. After, a few trials, I gave up and moved on.

While all the other freehosts going out of business and all hard earned webmaster traffic is being sent to 404, PimpServer is going strong and may I say HONEST. Pimpserver is one of the most reliable freehosts out there and Deniska is always available to help anybody. It is advisable to redirect Japanish traffic if you want to survive! Asian traffic needs special treatement in order to be converted to $$.

Just ouyt of curiosity, why is it that pimpserver removed MY penispills banners from my galleries when I uploaded them? They advertise the same in their headers and footers, yet they will remove my banners from my pages? I thought it was odd at the time, which was about a month or so ago.

However, NOW the penis pills ad is there at the bottom of my gallery! No kidding, it was gone before! Like I said, I uploaded it back in July and when I did, everything was there except the bottom banner. July 21st is the date on the file I believe.

I'm not trying to sling big shit here, and your server is failyl decent for speed and all, just saying what happened. I have since avoided using the penis pills ads when using your server, as it's kind of a waste fighting the other penis ads. :)

well, unless quotealex changed it, the link is right and it goes to some kind of TGP page. Either way, it seems like an appology is needed because it was a 404 or the page works fine (I tried it with several languages)

I have an main.htm (less galleries on it and an old page I made 2-4 months ago) and an main.html (more galleries on it, a newer page I made, 3-4 weeks ago). Tonight I'll check to see if both of them are there or if there's a conflict among these two pages.
