text or banners ???

Just wondering what everyone is having better luck with, text or banners??

overall i'd have to say text links. of course, that depends on how good a link you can write.

some banners do okay, but usually they aren't even close.

I almost never use banners on tgp galleries anymore. On free sites and avs sites I usually work them into the layout. If you want to use banners just try and grab ones that are not all over the place yet.

Yeah,

text links are prob better clicked on, but if it's a bullshit text link like: Click here for free movies. an when clicked on it will bring the surfer to a paysite, then your convertion is going to suck.

So make a text link that is juicy but will let the surfer know what he will get when he clicks it: "Only $2,95 for Great hardcore FULL-length movies!!"

Text links generally pull more traffic and use much less bandwidth. If you use them correctly, they can even send more productive traffic than banners.
