When recurring sponsor is good? I mean ratio between trials & trials that converts to full memberships? If i have quality traffic (from link lists) & from 20 trial signups about 8 will convert to full membership is it good ratio?

THX

That has been the avg I have been seeing over the years. Of course, you may come across a site that does much better. When you do, more power to you!

i try to work with sponsors that have no trial, but i use a couple twink sponsors that do, and about 70-75% of their surfers convert.

in the past, that is the average for the other sponsors we used, also. there are some that do worse, but we usually drop them.

The best is to try with partnership (if you really know you have quality traffic), and after a few months do the math - how much you made with recurring, and how much you would have made with per signup. Generally, you have almost the same amount if you have an average of 2 months, or slightly more with recurring for this average. But this means, with many cancels which are frequent, you'd have to have many more months than 2 for the other people - I tend to stay with per signup, I saw in my past how many cancellations I had with some good programs and good traffic, so per signup it's just not quick money, but also more money in my view. And I switched once from partnership to per signup, because I saw I could have made more money that way. Of course it varies (sponsors, traffic, period of the year, etc.), but other than just a guess on how many cancellations, is just to see for a few months how much you make with recurring and compare.

my experience varies a little depending on three things - the niche, the quality of the site, and how often it is updated.

i have some sites that i have made FAR more than $65 a member on average, and some sites (sweetpartners for example) that i couldn't even seem to convert any members from trials. how you do REALLY depends on the site.

If you get a really well run site, updated on a consistent basis, with fresh content, they'll hold onto members. Those are the sites that make the recurring money everyone boasts about. Unfortunatly, there are so many weak ass paysites out there, they water down the numbers.
