I'm a computer science major and I still have time to work on my sites. It's no different than taking any other classes in college.

while we're on the subject, I'm taking computer networking. I would have taken computer science, but the school I enrolled into(originally for visual communications/graphics design) doesn't have it. But there's a intro to programming/visual basic classes integrated into the c.n.o course. I hope once I get my c.n.o associates degree (in 18 months ) that I can either get another degree in visual communications or computer science. But that's if I'm still making decent money in this biz and have some extra time on my hands. If not, I'll have to get a 9-5 job

I just took my accuplacer exam last week. I scored in the 94% of arithmetic, but algebra I got 55% cause I haven't taken it since I was a jr. in high school. So I'm going to have to take algebra all over again to help with the programming classes I'm taking now

I am in CIS right now. One of my buds is CS. It is mainly Java, so read up! lots Classes, lots of theory etc.

Calc makes life easier.... plus functions in calc correlate to programing in many ways. Especialy since most prog languages contain functions (a little different context, though). I'd do it if I were you. Just make sure it is something you enjoy before you dive in.
