Felix's script wasn't good and support was horrible ... I'm looking for 4free script too, but for real professional script like join4free has :)

Really? What was the problem with it?
So far it has been running smoothly on my server for around 1½ month now.
Haven't had any need for support yet so can't comaplain about that neither :) the script needed some modifications to work on my box but was done pretty quick.
Overall I've been more than satisfied with the script :)

not sure what was the biggest problem, it's more than one year ago, but I just know that his script wasn't worth $1500 ...
but I can ask my ex-partner :)

I am the "ex partner" Niki talked about, so here we go.

Here are the problems we had :

first we had to wait quite long for the instalation, second the script couldnt hold more than couple thousands hits a day, after that, it crashed.

When I asked where the problem was, the reply was : its your host they dont know what they are doing, the server is not configured properly. The host was cavecreek so you can judge for yourself whether they know or dont know what they are doing.

I tried everything, but the script never worked properly longer than 3 or 5 days, than it crashed again.

Than I wanted to move the script to another server, but they never did it, apparently they had enough of my complaints although they were based on truth so I stoped using the script.

The design of the admin area is also shitty, there are only the basic functions.

To summarize it, it doesnt look and work like a professional script, it is not able to hold large amounts of traffic and it is too expensive.

Such a script should go for about 100 bucks as that is exactly the value of it.

excatly bigdog,

i was forced to get a custom writen script because of it.

alex : it was a script for running a site like join4free.com
