Quite frankly even if someone did have that many opt-in good addys, the spam complaints would be so numerous and so many that there would be alot of problems. We host some pretty big sized mailers and while they are truly opt-in (we monitor this by signing up to their lists without them knowing) -- the spam complaints still roll in, proportionate to the number of names on the list.

There are seperated by Niches and States.They are in ASCII format and it's about 645 megabytes worth of emails which equals out to be (you guessed it!) 147,000,000 emails and they have been checked July 20th for bad emails so these are all good!


So now what do I do?! lol


I haven't seen a script that would handle shootin' out the amount of emails

I was talking to someone at the GFY board and he said he had the same situation once and he used them and about 1% of the people emailed bought memberships.That equals out to be 1,400,000 bucks and I could live with that...

If it takes hours to split up the databases so be it, it's worth the effort. As unfortunate as it is, you do have to work to succeed here.

I wish you the best of luck, but at this point I would find a script that can handle a large number with stability and then accodate your list to fit it.

those lists you have wont be optin at all. 170,000,000 is to many they probably either computer generated ones or havested ones, either way you will need to find a host and billing company who doesnt care about spam complaints, you will also need to use anonamus spamming software like desktop server so your ISP doesnt kick you

even with desktop server, it only HIDES your IP somewhat, they can still get it and have you terminated. spamming or emailing on a static ip is not a good idea, most spammers get isp's just for spamming because they know they will be killed.

1: Open Outlook (not outlook express)
2: Copy paste the E-mails into the send to addres.
3: Write your promotion mail
4: Click on submit

I am always getting shit from people who say that I "opted in". Even with email addresses that I rarely use. I am sure that if you send out to a list of that size you will have a huge amount of spam trouble.
I have raised hell with a few spammers and thier defence was "but the guy I bought it from told me it was from an opt-in list"

I bet it was one of those mail list CDs especially since you say you have their state ect.. all sorted out. No other way you got those from opt-in and yet you cant even find a way to mail by asking the person you got them from.

Sounds very fishy to me and i might add if you cant handle the list then i dont think you should play with fire or you might get burned. By spamming users in your opted list you could face hugh legal issues and fines to recoup cost to pay people to handle the complaints and bandwidth fees. AOL has won such cases against mass mailers many times who thought they were undetectable because they bought mail-o-matic which did say stealth on the box.

You may not be aware of this but all open relay sites are being mapped out and blocked by major ISPs just to try and relieve their servers. Some large spammers have actually busted by the feds for mere spam which large amounts can slow servers and also be considered DOS on an ISPs servers.

Impossible to mail out 147 million emails - you have to break list down and use multiple servers.

We have a program that does 300 emails a second - with 147 million emails it would take about 340 days to send all those mails -
that is 24/7 round the clock - I think you would get shut down within the first 24 hours...of mass spamming...
