We are supposed to be getting these dialers that support all types of modems very soon.. but im getting 2nd thoughts. have you ever seen a dialer that supports a cable modem or dsl connection? how would it work if a dialer was designed to work through the phone line and act as an alternative way to paying by credit card or check? well fortunately, i have found information on this and i will be posting it up on my website in a matter of time. for any more information on these "majikal" dialers, email me up or reply!

You have to use your phone and make a call manually. When you hangup you get disconnected.
Cant work in another way, huh?
Lol we have had that dialer for 1 week now, and it work great.

The solution by dialing up a pay per call number and leaving your phone off hook for the duration of the call works but.. isn't one of the reasons you get DSL is so you don't need an additional phone line?

What do here when you leave your phone off the hook? advertising , phone sex , I am curious.

I beleive a drop charge or pin number by 900 is a much cleaner solution. I guess the problem with that is ,it is not a per minute where you can charge the caller 75.00 > a call. Instead you only make 30.00 to 50.00 per month. But if advertised properly you could probaly make up the difference on volume and create loyality and not penalize your customer for not having a credit card, but offer them a viable means of payment that won't bankrupt them or create massive chargebacks..hmmm what a concept..

You can use any phone line in the house. Or even in someone elses house (not that we'd condone that).
It doesn't have to be a seperate phone line near the computer. It's a simple voice call that uses the tones on the phone keypad to key in a special security and dialer number that's unique to the specific dialer you downloaded. Once that info is entered via the standard voice phone, the dialer unlocks the members area for that dialer - until the voice phone is hung up.

As long as there's a voice phone of some kind available, then the broadband option will work.

Jason.

Hehehe... I wonder how these dialers do, from what I've heard it's around 1% of all dialer minutes
Like to hear if you do better.

Marco
info@codialer.com
ICQ 29151164

Ah yea... that most of the information that I pulled up off the internet myself. I didnt hear about the dialing with your phone part though. That sounds like a bit more work than the old dialers. Well thanks for the extra information fellas!
