ok guys, i see few of you "teaching" others that they don't know how to sell memberships and convert traffic...

So where are you - marketing specialists? Tell us and explain how to maximize our profits! i don't believe to anyone telling that they can make 3000$/day off of 10k site... or maybe you just shout loud? I could believe in the "lessons" only when the guy explained everything and can prove his words....... otherwise it's dumb to "teach" us and blame us....

well, it could be a nice discussion on this theme... if there are guys who have practics and experience and wanna share their thoughts and discuss the things regarding the current topic - i would be more than glad to discuss that too..

$3000 off of 10,000 hits is a lot

I was doing $800-$1000 a day off of about 7000 hits per day

I was doing about $400/day off of 400 hits per day for my dialer, that is good.

As an experienced marketer, I can tell you that you will not see any 'top level' information for free.

All you will most likely see is the same regergitated garbage spewed out of the webbies mouths on a plethra of sites, otherwise known as common knowlege to those in the sector more than a couple months.

Additionally the basic fundementals of both marketing and e-marketing apply so if nothing else you can brush up on that.

You should not believe everything you hear either. Oh yea, I made 150 sales to cybererotica of a hun listing last week.

Like Mogul said, marketing experts don't give information for free. We profit from it. If we gave it away for free then we wouldn't be the experts anymore now would we :-)

So far I've picked up one good "trick," that I'm getting ready to put to the test now. I think the best thing to do is study what other's do and come up with your own techniques, then test, test, test. I do little tests to see if I change something, does production go up or down, dialer minutes go up or down etc.

Well there are ways to make money from the shittiest traffic.

We can pretty much guarantee to make about $500 a day for a site that gets only 50k of traffic even CJ

But again nothing in life is free. We work full time with our clients.

You're right--it's hard to find good free marketing info on the Web. So I went offline, took a stroll to my local library, and found some very good titles on marketing to borrow--all for free.

As Mogul points out, the basic fundamentals still apply, and it isn't that hard to extrapolate them to the Web.

you won't get people to deliver all their secret to the broad network of boards...

some will say some in ressource sites to make a few bucks, but never the real secret..

I said this hoping that people would realize that like any buisiness you need to sell, sell, sell. For example, You have a car dealership, Okay, You have the cars, and space, and customers, But who is going to sell to them? This is why you need salesmen, The salesmen will explain in detail about the paticular cars, give recommendations, intoduce services they offer, etc. The same goes for porn sites. You cant expect to make any money if you dont sell your product. You may have a noticable link on your gallery/site that goes to your sponsors, but why should they click on it? Just because there is a link or banner there? No, they should click on it ecause you have put into there minds that they will benifit by going there, they will get something you havent already given them for free, and they will like it.

I was hoping that people would understand what im getting at without having to tell them what to do in steps. You have to be creative and inovated if you want to make any money.

and BTW, $3,000 off of 10k/day site is not very realistic.

I'm specializing in granny TGP traffic atm and i started doing pretty good income as i had before the usa tragedy.... but i know that there's always a space left for better sales :)

a part of webmasters bitch that TGP traffic is worthless.... i can't agree with that - it's good if you do everything right

but again, if i put big ads, like banner and explanations and comments below and above it, etc - it will lower the productivity and traffic

Exactly. There is no crap traffic, just amateurs who do not know how to use it.

You want a tip, fine. Learn to track your stuff properly. At any given time you show know what works where and what doesn't.

Since most people do tgp, you should know what type of gallery with what niche works on what particular tgp. Furthermore, you should learn to track sales by time of day and month.

I remember telling people years ago to look at sales patterns. It is all about optimization.

Example: Let's say you are a 1 trick pony. In other words, you build the same type of stuff all the time. You then start looking at your sales logs and notice you get sales to your sponsors almost all the time from 8am pst to 11pm pst. So from 11pm pst to 8am pst you make almost nothing or perhaps less than 5% of your total sales.

Using that data you should then remove that sponsor or types of ads if running the same messagee/format set all the time because it could be indicitive of the mind set of your eyeballs in that time period.

This was an example based off of a client years ago who did as I instructed and saw a sales gain.

Of course if it seems like too much work you could always build a 20 pic page with 1 ARS banner on top and 1 cybererotica banner on bottom then submit to the Hun every few days. :cool:
