$300 isn't nothing, it could be a test run to bigger things. For example, we started with TCG by generating $280 in sales to make sure they pay. Since they did, we now deliver about $5000/week in sales. If they didn't pay, they would have lost these sales forever. Even the smallest amounts owing could be some of the biggest webmasters doing test runs. I would not waive off what you consider peanuts, its bad business.

When the exit programs died we all lost big money, all I'm trying to do is the honmest thing and come back with the same program, same url and same clean terms.

I could have called it xyzexit.com but that's not my style.

I went out for a reason, and I'm back to do the honest thing. I didn't change names, urls, budiness name, hosting companies or whatever.

Everyone who makes money stays in business, when things go really wrong everyone goes out. I have never screwed anyone intentionally, so I don't think I need to reinvent myself this time. $300 is not the problem, if I you only knew how much I lost when i closed shop you'd not even bother to talk about something like 4300 that was not even owed to you.

I made good money and paid a lot of webmasters on time every time and intend to do that this time around. I have multiple sponsors, multiple brokers to work with, and that's the bottom line. I'm set right to stay for a very long time.

Playa you got it right.

The idea is that once you leave your site, the only exit console is ours, if your entry cosole spawned a bunch of consoles, we would not abe able to convert on our console. The bottom line is someone ends up paying foor the traffic ultimately. And the end receipient has to be able to make money, otherwise no one will buy exit traffic.
My gut feeling based on experience is that exit traffic is the best source of revenues, unles traffic converts extremely well then I'd send it to a partnership, recurring or per click sponsor.
But after over 4 years in this game, I have come to the conclusion that someone at the end has to make money or they won't buy the traffic.

I remember a couple of years ago, cj's were making a killing selling exit, everyone decided to clean up their act, and here we are today.

Exit traffic with reasonable popups is still the way to go, but thats a biased opinion.

I know we all think clean sites are the way to go, but giving the surfer a very clean site ends up not making us money.

CJ's turned their back on their own beginings, and I don't think anyone made more cash in the past year by giving surfers a clean site.
I maybe wrong, but too much free clean content is not in the cj best intrest.
