"the domain / admin (email) problem..."

can anybody help me out and teach me what to do with my current situation:

I´ve got one "master" email address, thats site unspecified, through which I basically route and write all my emails (personal, business etc..) now that domain is still hosted on my very first host, I can even remember the name, because I´m not using it anymore since about 30 months...
But still my email worked so I saw no reason in the hassle to do that, at that moment unnecessary move.

Now finally it doesnt work anymore, and I guess it never will again, cause it was shut down because of way too many of those nasty, annoying virus-spam emails with all their attachmments (some of those attachments were up to 2 MB big!)

Now the mess is, that I´ve entered that special email address for all my domain registrations, INCLUDING the domain itself... it was my first domain and thats about 35 months ago or something and I didnt know what I´m doing! :-((

Any of you some idea?!

sign up again for an hostingservice at this host,the cheapest plan,and you get your mail back.

now change your stuff.

Just transfer your domain to your current host. You might have to fax the new registrar (like godaddy.com ) a form and identification and you'll have your domain and email back!

What I meant was transfer the domain to a new registrar like godaddy.com and set it up on your current host. If you have your old registration info and if they allow you to change nameservers you dont even need to transfer the domain to a new registrar.

and how do I actually transfer a domain to a new registrar (especially when I cannot receive the confirmation email) ???

if you sign up again at the same hostservice,there is no need to change the nameserver.

you get your email back.

than sort it out..its too easy..hehe
