dialers min are down for all the dialer companies as far as i know ( sure some people are doing better ).


is it the summer or not???

its Not summer. my traffic is the same but my dialer minutes have gone to shit.

Well, i think the traffic I get on my site is bored by the summer (they convert like shit, make mins. like shit, but God they are many). I belive this is a summer slowdown not a problem with the dialers.

However, I prepare a CJ site now, it's much better for the dialers. I wonder if I will found some serious sites to trade, you can see everywhere CJ2 and TGP.

This is the third summer I've been doing this and I always see the same paniced messages on the boards.

Yes, things are a bit slower. They are slow EVERYWHERE. Most major industries see a slowdown in summer, the exception to this is the travel business. Kids are home from school. People are taking vacations.

This is why many large companies have summer hours, it's a cost cutting move to minimize loss during this notoriously slow period. In my own non-adult business the summer has ALWAYS been the slow time of the year, then in late august-september the floodgates open till Christmas.

Porn is a major industry effected by all the same economic trends the non-adult sector is.

Summer is a time to start working harder, get all those free sites and SE feeders out there, because September will be here before you know it, and you won't even think twice about summer. If you can't go 3 months a year on blind faith alone, you may want to reconsider this game.

Rich is 100% right. For me summertime usually means a 20% drop in traffic and a 60% drop in profit but it always bounces back when schools start.
