Friends of mine have collected close to $10K trough Western Union from sportsbooks. Just ask them to send it in batches below the minimum so they give you cash and not checks.

Western Union is fucking great if you need the money FAST.
But you ARE gonna pay for that. Their rates are INSANE high. Better to do a normal wire transfer it is a lot cheaper and if you actually need the money that fast you can ask your bank (in many cases) to call the senders bank to ask if the wire transfer whent out from the senders bank
