seems as if sign ups are back to normal again.

Just thought everyone would want to know. I just checked my stats for the first time today, and noticed this.

I have to admit though, things are odd here. The traffic continues to come but nothing converting. I would have expected traffic levels to drop significantly as well. I would imagine people would not be surfing, but surfing and not purchasing anything doesn't make much sense.

WG, i guess when it comes to actually buying something people might be a bit more alert about what they are doing.

It'd be quite easy for someone to surf a site like a zombie at the moment.

Dialer minutes are still down, around the 30% mark lower - USA minutes halved.

low conversion is probably due to the backbone being a little slower, the US Gov have comandered 30% of the backbone bandwidth for communications.

Well I'm not an economist and I have never played one on t.v. but 4 out of 5 surfers recommend sugarless porn.

But seriously. If you look back in history during times of recession and depression entertainment was one area that was never really affected. And by that I mean most citizens even though times were tough still went out to dinner, to the theatre, to the movies etc to help keep themselves preoccupied.

Not saying we're going to see a boon, not saying we're going to see a bust. But I don't think it's time to start screaming the sky is falling and that's for sure.

today started with lots of traffic and not many signups but now things looks good I have 18 singups for the day so far

Things are starting to pick up for me, although down time for a couple of my sponsors hurt yesterday.

I wouldnt worry about an economic downturn, I forget where, but I read a report on porn being basically recession proof.
