1) Stop weeping and get LINUX or BeOS or whatever. Why do you complain how bad windows is but still keep using it?

2) Most of the guys here will not survive a single day without WIN (including me). I have 3 comps at my house, 2 linux and 1 Win2K. Still spending most of the time on NT.

Sure there will be a crack, sure people could switch to some other OS.

But the fact is that since most people are using MS OS, many are also required to do so either they like or not, just because everyone else is. For example since most people use Internet Explorer webmasters use it too, so they will be able to optimize the pages for most visitors.

I spend most of my time writing applications, and since most people are using MS OS I also write the software for Windows only. Only real way to get things to change is if as good as everyone just switched at the same time. And of course that won't happen.

And Microsoft implent stuff like this, because they know people still have no other choice then use it anyway.

There will be cracks, but that's not really the point. And I really don't think it's a wice thing to do and give away the largest crack search engine on the net publicly on this forum.

I would like to see you work hard on something, and then most people simply use it for free anyway. It's not fun at all.

The biggest things holding other OSes back is they are just too fucking hard for an average user. I have been using unix for 8 years and I still have difficulties from time to time.

this is why im a hardcore linux user. because of al the stuff ive heard about ms and there plans to rule the internet and not just the os market. did you know that they sabatoged mp3's in XP? a 128 bitrate sounds like a 24 bitrate mp3. because they want everyone to switch to their wma format. well ive got news for them.
