i bought a compaq ipaq 3630 last days and its awsome.. anyone else has a compaq or knows where to get good shit for pocket pc besides tucows?

Picked up the Palm m505 this summer. PDA's are great for staying organized. That is where it has helped me the most.

Anyone surfing on these things? How is the connection.

koon.. i didn´t know they have pocket pc stuff too.. then i should have no problem finding stuff :).. i can get everything on isonews when its out but finding smaller shit like pocketpc stuff is hard...

wg can this blackberry play movies and mp3s? thats why i bought it too.. i didn´t buy a portable mp3 player so far and then i decided to combine everything.. anyone knows if its possible to install divx codec on the pda.. don´t get it working

Nope, it wasn't designed to. It appeals to business users who want to convert trade in their laptop for this more or less. It does email, surfs the web, calendar, etc.. etc.. And I can type at least 5X faster on it that I can with a palm.

on the compaq you don´t need to to write.. you type on the onscreen keyboard which is cool and fast :)

The phone from sprint sucks, its not digital, only analoge, and in japan all the phones they have, have pda's built in, and in about a year the US will be all digital as far as cell phones are concerned.

Now I have one question. Which PDA to get?
Compaq or Palm? or a different one, but i deffinitly want a color lcd screen.

what is not really funny is that here In quebec canada, you only have 9600kbs limitation by federal laws..... hope they will change that pretty soon to have complete mobile internet :)
