Hosting in another countries means it will most likely be slower for the majority of your clients.

Actually, I now see a very big problem with using an ISP outside of the country. The laws regarding xxx are not like the U.S. A few foreign ISPs that I have looked at have some very questionable material on them. I think I will stick with a U.S. host.
