Hi, I'm new to this board. I run a few circle jerk sites. I sold my exit traffic to Steve Goobeldy from garbagetraffic.com.
He only paid me once after I talked to him on the phone. I've heard from other webmasters that he didn't pay them either.

The facts are that I left town for 13 days, 95% of the webmasters and companies that sell me traffic were paid on time during the past days, afew weren't. That will be remedied when I return next Tuesday.

Hello guys. Most, if not all of you know me. I want to get some things straight.

I get a lot of webmasters telling me things about Steve because they know Steve and I are friends. Like a few minutes ago a couple of people told me via icq that Mr Brian is spreading a rumor, via icq, that Steve cheated a sponsor and was dropped and how he's not going to pay anyone.

First of all, Mr Brian, before you go shooting your mouth off about others, why don't you answer the question posted earlier about why you haven't paid your webmasters?

Tell you what, Mr Brian, why don't you post what you're telling people here and see what response you get from Babenet and Steve and their lawyers. Steve and I both deal with the same person at Babenet. I've spoken with him several times today, as I do everyday. He knows I know Steve, and yet I guess he must have forgotten to mention how Steve was cheating them, but managed to remember to tell you??? You're so full of crap Mr Brian.

I saw your post about you pinging my and Steve domains and how you said we share a server......more crap. We both host at Openface. We both have multiple servers there - it just happens to be one of the largest hosts in the Montreal area. So if you look at the IP # you quoted, you'll find its the IP for their name server not my domain....I suggest you do a little more homework before opening your mouth next time.

Now, a lot of people ask me if Steve and I are partners. No we are not. We are in the same type of business but we are not partners. I have known Steve a long time - he has never screwed me. He is on vacation right now and will be back Monday night. If you have any questions for him, ask him then.

You guys know my reputation, many many of you sell me traffic and get paid on time, every week. I don't like crap being spread around, especially about someone who is unavailable to defend himself. That just show's you the kind of person, the person spreading the rumors, is.

IMHO this board is best used to help each other. I do believe that it should be ok to post about BAD webmasters/sponsors but frist lets get all the facts and if you do post post to inform other webmasters not to try and get a lnych mob togeather

All I know is that I didn't get paid. I took off his links, he sent me a message on icq that if I didn't put his links back up I wouldn't get paid. So I put his links back up and he promised to fedex me my check the next day. I waited a week but there was no fedexed check.
I got paid once by him but that was after I talked to him personally and asked where my check was and he told me there were problems with the bookkeepers.
I guess those problems aren't over yet....

OK, just for my 2 cents. I think everbody here on this board knows that i'm an honest webmaster, have never cheated anybody, and play shit by the books. I started selling this guy my traffic. He prepaid me for one week, which i met. That was fine. Then the prepayment for the next week never came. I kept sending traffic from monday through thursday (about $2k worth), while he kept feeding me non-working fedex tracking numbers and promising that the check was in the mail. I, being the trusting soul that i am, kept sending the traffic. All of a sudden, on friday, i can't even check my stats with him. He says some BS about how the box was hacked, and how he's got some tech guy working on restoring my account. He suggests that maybe i shouldn't send traffic until it's fixed and i get paid, then we can resume. OK by me, so i pull the links, having still sent like 350-400k unpaid, and i start waiting for the check, with no other buyer lined up. Well, i still haven't received the check, 2 1/2 months later. A month or so ago, i posted something to this effect on the porncity BBS and he suddenly changes his tune from "your check is in the mail" to "i've already paid you, fuck you", which, i'm sure, is what he'll post in response to this message, saying that he has cancelled checks from me, etc. Truth be told, yeah, he has one cancelled check from me for the first week of traffic, but the second week is still unpaid. Basically, this guy is a crook. Here's one of the three or four tracking numbers he gave me:

now it shows as delivered, which means that he never even had that particular fedex envelope in his possession, or else just outright lied about it having been sent, and sent the same airbill to someone else.

NOTE: this jack guy, if it's the same one i've been dealing with, seems rock solid. I've received 5 checks so far from this guy, each one on time, and each one cleared just fine.

OK, heres our experiences with Steve.

We Start up the week before Christmas, no pre pay agreement, and with no payment structure agreed.

It comes to mid Jan, and we have not got any money.

Daniel da Silva was floating around in this equation somewhere.. not too sure where though.

Dan said our cheques had been mailed by Steve, so we waited and waited....

...meanwhile, we can only access stats from Jan 4th onwards - 1/2 of what we had sent was sent before this date.

Things are not looking good - we have not got paid, we have been fed bogus stories about cheques being mailed, and we cant get hold of our stats proving what we have sent.

Things reach a head.

I gave Steve a call, he got $6000 mailed out to us that day, with sincere apologies for the problems.

He gave us a FedEx number, and guess what? It did not work... until monday evening (FedEx did not add it into their system).

BANG: monday evening, the FedEx tracking starts to work, wednesday/thursday we recieve a nicew cheque.

two weeks later, without needing to ask for another payment, we get mailed our next FedEx cheque - for exactly what we are owed.

We have been waiting a week now for our next cheque, but are not worried about it - as Steve told us he was going to be overseas.

We have 100% faith that next week we will get our monies, in full.

This is our experiences with Steve, at first glance, it seems like we have been fucked about a bit with bullshit stories. BUT, there have always been good explanations to any problems, and they have always been resolved.

(just adding this so that people do know that there are cases where webmasters are _more_ than happy with Steve)

There are no two ways about it. We sent this CON ARTIST a wire for 5,000.00 to buy traffic from him. 1 hour into the traffic, we knew we were getting scammed and told him to stop the test and send us the balance. He promised to send the balance back (we have the emails) We had a Canadien lawyer chase him around for a while but it just wasn't worth it. He even went so far as to create a fake stats page to try to fool our lawyer into thinking he sent the traffic.

I can't say enough bad about this guy and his business.

I think webmasters who read these messages are pretty intelligent, they can tell when someone is trying to be reasonable and trying to work out problems.

I posted earlier that if you have a problem email me lets talk about it and see what it is.

You haven't done that, but instead you post another message to discredit me, and bad mouth me.

I believe if you had a problem, and wanted to work it out, you would email me and discuss it to reach a resolution.

I am trying to resolve any misunderstandings with people. I could come up with a dozen excuses to not pay my webmasters, I could accuse them of cheating or breaking the rules, I could plain ignore them, but NO instead I have told everyone who has contacted me that their check will go out the next day, and those checks have gone out the next day.

What I believe is going on is a publicity campaign to discredit me and my programs.
And intelligent webmasters can see that.

I will answer any posting that I feel is wrong, I will talk to anyone who feels they have a problem, I'm not going to roll away and go out of business because you say things about me, or anyone else.

What I DO know is that I heard that 12clicks did NOT like TGP traffic so what I did was that I contacted 12clicks via ICQ and asked him if my galleries was okay with his rules.... he said okay... He also paid me, even though that I did NOT live in the US (his new rule first kicked in after I started). The point is that he fucked me by not telling me that he after aprox 4-5 days said he DID NOT WANNNA PAY FOR NON US traffic... I saw that on the PC board. And he has supposed to send a E-mail to everyone that signed up for his program.
I was signed up with 2 account... I did not get ANY mails at all... [I get all mail send something like ( I_can_t_send_a_e_mail-help@mdue.dk and I get it.... you can write whatever you whant and I will get it if it ends up with 1 of my domains)
