NORMAL LINK, PLEASE HELP

Hello,
I have a question.
I make a trade with a site, let me just give you the example, I run spicypost.com
I have a table on my main page at spicypost.com/main.htm which has some sites in there, they have specific codes for their link, for example I have picturepost.com on my links the link is http://www.spicypost.com/cgi-bin/ucjoutlt.cgi?link=picturepost

however when you click the link on that page, it goes to some random site. I thought it would go to the picturepost.com site. I understand that when I use the link http://www.spicypost.com/cgi-bin/ucjoutlt.cgi which i do for blind links, it goes to a random site, but I thought a link with the id it should go to that site. Why does it do this, how do I fix it???

Hi spiceman,

when you use the form ucjoutlt.cgi?link=whateverlink, it's only to track this link. Let's say that you have a big thumb on top of your page and you wanna know how many people click on it, just to know if this thumb is giving you a good outclick, you have to set the link of this thumb like something like ucjoutlt.cgi?link=bigthumb, and now everytime you'll go see your link report in your admin page you'll be able to see how many time your thumb has been click under the ID bigthumb. So if you wanna make a normal link (a perm link), you just have to link to the domain of that site, like http://www.picturepost.com.

Hi Spiceman

It looks like you may have the wrong impression of CJ sites CJ sites are for TRAFFIC trading the idea being you trade with mass sites and mass traffic

To do what you seem to want to do is trade LINKS you would need to get a script that is designed to trade LINKS not TRAFFIC there are lots of scripts about to do this.

IMHO what you need to do is decide excatly what you would like the script to do and then look for the script that will do the job all the CJ scripts are GREAT scripts especially UCJ (IMHO) but they are designed to run CJ sites and that is what they are good for if you want to trade links get a link trading script

Also Likwid Blaze advice is worth taking try to get a few poeple on ICQ you will get a lot more answers and help
