TGSW?!

I just bought TGSW ! I have heard that it is alotta work enabling and setting it up but this is ridiculous!! lol There are 1,300 different TGP's to enable I started last night at 6pm slept for 4 hours and went back 2 enabling TGP's. I have done 200 TGP's in about 20 hours!

Anyone else have this and if so please say there is an easier way to do this!!! lol

I thought about using it, but all of the big boys told me they wouldnt accept it. I didnt want to submit to 100 TGPs that get about 5 hits a day.

Are you getting any traffic because of it?

I haven't used it yet. I am still setting it up. There is a cloak feature with makes it look like a hand submit, so I dunno if that actually works but we'll see

Ahhh, thats why i get only a lousy 5K to my galleries... because of those FREE host shit thing....
Bought TFSW desktop, bought the TGSW Database upsdate and submitted twice now.. as said.. only a lousy 5K.

Posted this one by hand to JJJ and Al4a and JJJ alone sends already 8K today to this gallerie. That more then the two times together i submit with TGSW.

But maybe its really that onm your own server you get more change to get listed with TGSW.. dunno

Totally preconfigured database, regular updates, and ace tech support!

A few TGP's, like the hun, are NOT activated - so you can easily manually submit to the few...

Check 'em out if you really want to use TGSW to it's fullest!

And if you only get 5k hits - then perhaps your IP address/email/etc are banned everywhere... We get far more than that!

For $100 per year, someone else does most of the work for you, updating all the TGPs details, adding new ones, activating them (for the correct categories) etc.

All you need to do then is set up the other options regarding your server etc., and design some nice pages to be used as templates.

Some of the "big boys" make anti-TGSW statements, because many who buy it are lazy bast*rds who use the program's own templates filled with crap pictures.

I haven't found one yet who flat-out won't accept from TGSW, PROVIDING (and really this is equally true whether you submit by hand or using an auto-submitter such as TGSW) you do a decent looking design with good, fresh pics. It is better, but not absolutely necessary, not to be on a free host.

I have been submitting for over 2 years without problems and get 100K+ hits off every submission. I have used TGSW all the time and once you figure it out, it is excellent. Since the updater appeared earlier this year, most of the effort has been taken out of setup and maintenance too.

If my ip address is banned then its the ip from my freehost. I submit a gallery on thois free host.
As far as i know my email isnt blacklisted, banned or whatever...

I will try to submity from my own domain, if i get then still 5K then i give up with TGSW and will submit by hand again...

I don't think you can take full advantage of TGSW when you host your galleries on a free host.

I'm getting 35-45K a day just by using TGSW ... but my galleries are on my own domain and paid hosting...

I think it will take a few more days before I'll see an increase because of that tgswupdates database I'm running now ...

I got 35-45K with 512 TGP's enabled ... I bet there are alot of shitty ones in that list that don't send you hits (especially some of those free shavenferret TGP's)

I'm sure that if you submit by hand to the big TGP's you get the same, or maybe even more traffic as you can have with TGSW.

if tgsw only can get 35 to 45k by submiting to 512 tgps ... i dont think it is doing any good at all

I get 85k by using TGSW daily and handsubmitting twice a week.

I think TGSW is a really good program. You cannot expect 50k in your first week. After some time reviewers know your name and will post your galleries more often. By the way I'm using smutserver.com so it's not impossible to get some nice traffic on a freehost.

Machine, "big boys" do accept my galleries, I get listed on thumbzilla, JJJ, and other big tgps regularly. I think it's an issue with your design if you don't get listed.

The only way, in my humble opinion, to make TGSW work is to buy TGSWupdates. And It will work. In 2.5 day, I had 1.7 million hits with an average of 70k uniques. Damn, I know this is going to cause screams. But it is true. Beware of the bandwidth this will generate. June and 3 days of July wiped out my cash reserves and POed my wife. I am new at this end of the business and made a very bad choice in hosting services.

I think I need to get in on this thread.

I submit by had to 4 big guys and have bo problem getting accepted and recieving 50k a day.

I dont submit to smaller TGP, because it is not worth my time for small amounts of traffic those TGP's would bring in.

However if I were able to easily make many galleries for these smaller TGPs, by using TGSW, and thus gain another 25-30k. I think it would be worth the money....or would it?

You guys were right about tgswupdates.com! I signed up and downloaded allthe stuff and I had all 1,300 enabled in 2 minutes!!! lol I am now doing the templates and then I will test it out.


There's 1 thing I don't get! If some tgp's only allow you to submit once a day then how does the TGSW script submit all my catergories of pics.I have like 22 catergories

If you use multiple categories, then day by day TGSW works its way through the pics, category by category... doing each category in alphabetical order. BTW within each category it uses the pics in alphabetical order: a feature you can use if you want to submit series galleries.

You can submit more than once a day by deleting the history.txt file, but since it will resubmit to all the enabled TGPs, this is a quick way to get yourself banned.

I did! I read it over and over. I tried to name the template "mature" but got a message saying it needs to be named AUTO... in order for it to place recips in it automaticly.

Let's try my own explanation... your default template files are templateAUTO.html (galleries with recips) and template31.html...

If you want TGSW to pick up different versions for different categories, you put your modified copies of both these files into any image directories you want. If those files exist there, TGSW will use them. If not, it uses the files in the default location.

Aiight so I modify the AUTO or 31 template to make it match a catergory then upload it or put it in (let's say my "mature" catergory) and when the script runs it will use my modified template in the mature folder!?

Pinox: U should give TGP submitting some time. When u submit to the hun NOW, u are lucky if u get listed 08/11. But that listing will generate a shiotload of traffic. If u start submitting with tgsw you should submit 1 gallery everyday and do that for abt 1 month

i get over 100,000 a day using tgsw, and i don't even have 200 tgp's active.

i can tell you that the galleries i get submitted from tgsw users to my tgp are fucked up. gay galleries with the category mature. galleries where people get the thumbs and the pics backwards and the pages have 15 40 k pics on them that lead to thumbs...

if you aren't getting hits, you are probably doing something wrong - the category one is the most common mistake i see. most tgp webmasters don't have the time to re-categorize 50 galleries in the middle of posting.

if you make AUTO1 mature, AUTO2 gay, and AUTO3 teen, then all the tgp's your mature database (class.txt) should use AUTO1, your gay tgp database should be all on AUTO2 and so on.

Do you get a database with tgps when you buy the script or do you have to buy the database seperately?
When I add some new tgps in the database, and I get an update is it then possible to keep the ones I added myself, Or do I have to add them again?
Wich version is the best for me, or doesn't it realy mather?

You get a database and regular updates, as part of the package. BUT it will take you 20-40 hours to go through and enable the TGPs to which you want to submit and with each update, you have (some) more work to do.

The service from tgswupdates (a separate unassociated business in Australia) provides and maintains an active database, ready to run. You just overwrite the existing files and you're done.

If you want to add your own, or you don't want the submit-to-all approach that is used by tgswupdates then you would pretty much have to activate and maintain the database manually. As noted, their updates overwrite the existing database files.

I have an ISDN line and a separate PC for running stuff like TGSW, so there isn't a downside for me in the desktop version and I like being able to work offline if I choose. It's also marginally easier to tinker with the files if they are local.

If you don't want the submission process running on your PC, using its resources for an hour plus, go for the server version. They work similarly, are functionally identical and both execute with almost zero effort on your part.

BTW if you don't like the one you buy, Robert is good about letting you switch.

From my own experience, you could get 25K more with TGSW. But if you are getting these numbers without too much work, you probably don't have a lot to gain.

Before the auto-updater came along, I maintained a manual database of around 50 TGPs that reliably pulled in 80K-100K. Submitting to all the additional ones, because they are small, only generates around 20K more. But it's a LOT less work now and that's the big plus!

The reason I say that is because about 6 months ago I was thinking about using it, but I emailed most of the big boys first to ask if they allowed it and they all said no. If they use it, then hell I may have to look into this.

Hmmm, one thing i noticed about TGSW is i wasn;t getting confirmation emails back on some of my submissions to large TGP's. I would always get the confirmation emails if submitted by hand. This made me wonder and what I think is that some TGP's have a ht_access script that will reject all submissions not coming directly from their submit button on their page...

Everything is working fine now with my TGSW pro.

I have been using it for 2 days now and my traffic has increased 10x's!!

Imust say I am getting most of my hits from Thumbzilla and this other TGP that I never even heard of -Dr. Bizarro? Who the hell is Dr. Bizarro?lol Anyway his site kicks ass as far as giving traffic.


I don't know what to say to people who say they only get 3,000 hits from using TGSW cuz I have got 40,000 in 2 days and I really don't know how to use the damn thing except to hit the execute button!! lol
