Hey everyone,
I run an adult search engine called Pornicopia.net.
We are looking for free sites with content, TGPs, and MGPs to spider in our state of the art google style search engine.
We are soon going to be going under a cosmetic change, (the old CEO liked pink... we are going with something more simplistic)
At any rate sgop to the url below to submit:
http://www.pornicopia.net/submitURL.html
All we ask for is for alink in return, or if you feel real generous:
http://www.pornicopia.net/addus.html
Thanks and I hope we can send you some good traffic.
P.S
Keep in mind we use a spidering system not that different from the older google method. Please set your robots accordingly and meta tags, I cannot tell you how many sites we spider a week that only get one or two placements.. (we have almost 40,000 indexed pages)

If it's a google style SE script then why can't you go spider them yourself?
The thing is: Most "Serach Engines" looking for sites are in fact looking for "recip links".
Most of them will put you somewhere 24 pages deep, never send one lousy click and use some link like
http:\\wvw.searchengine.com/trade.php?url=12348746573 while everyone else gives your link a nice fat placement on their main page.
I have one (1) pay site that has 206,000+ links indexed in Google and they do send me traffic. I have never given them a link anywhere.
Thank you, but that's not a very good deal for everyone else.

First of all....
I dont expect any links back and we have never expected it in the past 2 years, we only ask if you will add a link and never require a link...
Secondly our google style works only in the fact we spider sites that want to be a part of our SE using an older algo. Just like google you have to submit you URL to be Spidered.
Thirdly placement is purely based on content. If your robots.txt and your site are made even by a twelve year old then you should be set up good enough for a spider.
Finally before you assume anything ask.. Weve been in business for years. Were a legally formed company in the US, and we run a tight ship. If you dont want to submit then dont, no one is forcing you too, but if you want free trafic go for it.
So if anyone wants to submit a link feel free!

Matter of fact I never have submitted a site to any search engine, not even google.
Things get listed a lot faster and deeper when they get naturally crawled.
Pornocopia has a google PR of 2 and an alexa rank not even on the chart, in fact, over 5 million.
http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?q=&url=http://pornicopia.net
With 33 files indexed by google.

I am under 1 million alexa on a 4 month old site with 233,000 indexed files in 100 google pages.
Google has every set indexed, 100 google pages for a total of 995 pages on xxxpierced.com so far.
Page 1 - http://www.google.com/search?q=site:xxxpierced.com&hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLG,GGLG:2005-25,GGLG:en&filter=0

I have also been in business for years, and I am incorporated in the US.
Have a nice night :)

Do you need list of URLs, or will the spider be able to follow links if I give url to page with those links?
Like this:
http://www.tgpfun.com/webmasters/clean-freesites.html
Can spider follow those links and index pages?

I turned off the crawl function because I discovered that the crawler was going on for days just for one website, and giving me non-free and non tgp sites.
I will add the URLs from your page to our spider queue which will crawl one level deep.
Thanks!
