What happens when nobody submits galleries

Hello to everybody and best wishes for 2002 to start

I have a question / remark, what would happen with TGP when there wouldn't be any webmasters at all who would submit their gallery to TGP's ?
There wouldn't be any content at all on TGP's, right?
So why do some ask money for it?
Maybe i am oldfashioned

It is a symbiotic relationship.

A TGP owner *could* not list anyone elses galleries but their own (like some now actually do). They can also list other TGP owners galleries (in exchange for them listing their own). So they could get by without any "gallery makers".

As a gallery maker, on the other hand, where do you expect to get your traffic from?

The people who want the most traffic pay the TGP's for it. They get the surfer when he is "fresh" out the gate so to speak, and hence make the most sales on their pages this way.

Trust me, if this was not profitable, no one would be doing it. :)
