if your users harvest my emails,i will report it instantly if i receive the first spam.
so i bet this days most emails are useless;-)

stop writing this shit, there are sooo much needed projects around for good programmers.

...but i guess you let peoples opt-in,and don't harvest it from www-pages...
..so you are allowed to go on.

lol

[sorry if my first post was rude...but my mailboxes get filled with useless shit every day/hour/minute]

Yea tell me about it i get so tired of all the junk..

BTW rejecting hotmail and such would be like rejecing AOL your going to loose alot of potential good people. There are many people who use hotmail just foir adult related stuff and some may use small ISP that dont have email.

Just a thought to take into consideratin..

banning places like hotmail is a judgement call. It won't always limit you by banning them IF you have a good service.

I have a ban list of around 8,000 free email places like hotmail. I ran a test on one of our many email services. I found that a good % of the people would enter their real email after being told that accountX was banned.

To me it is a good trade off. Having done professional email marketing for many years, and as you will realize, if they don't read your mail, it is worthless. Most free accounters don't amount to much.

If you were running saw a join 4 free type site, most would check your initial email for codes then never look again.

So run your tests. If you ban places and don't see much of a drop off, providing you are doing good numbers to warrant a test, then banning free emails might be a good policy for you.

I am getting about 100 spam emails a day it takes me a lot of tiem to delete them, but I am not pissed off , that is something that is not needed but somethimes the line between the spam and real email is very thin. Instead of wasting more time to report them and all that bullshit just hit delete

Yes and thank you very much for wasting an hour of my time, geesh and my upstream still has be connected. If you sign up for someones service using your email, and they notify you about something its not spam DUMBFUCK.

its spam to put someone on a mailing list without confirming their subscription with a unique url sent via e-mail. without confirmation, there's no way you can know if the e-mail signup is legit. plus this cuts down on bounces, which is always a plus.

Ok so you said that royalteegee had a right to email me about his noheaders bs (That is if I actually signed up for his other freehost) when it never said on the signup form that he would be sending promotional emails...

Then again do you know what spam is? Seems you and your workers do it like it ain't spam so I guess you don't know what it is...
