Advice pls, ProHosters.com for a dedi server?

Hi all. I am thinking of moving some of my sites from SexTracker (expensive lately!)to ProHosters.com, and wanted to get some advice or feedback about them if possible here. I did a search for ProHosters here in the forum, and got many hits, but the latest one was in March of 2001, and much of those were not very flattering... not wanting to bas eany decisions on old news here, so... any consensus on how they are these days? Good, bad, anything?

prohosters moved over to verio since then, and seem to be more stable now than ever. I'd recommend going with them.

Thanks for the speedy reply Terrance... hmm, I've been combing the forums over at PornCity BBS and there still seem to be many complaints about downtime from users there, many posted as recently as 3.29.02. I've been burned too badly by lousy hosts in the past (can anyone say 'TransCharge'???) so am very leery about host switching these days... any other recent iunput about PH's, friends?

Apart from last Dec, I have no complaints about the semi-dedicated or the dedicated. Especially for the amount of domains they let you have.

i've been with them for a long time and i've never had any problems on my dedicated.

If you know how to configure a server then go with rackshack. They are hands down the cheapest offer right now. <br /><br />BTW: Im hosted at both rackshack and prohosters.
