ICQ Problem please help

Today ICQ won't start up. I tried to re-install it but that didn't help. I used to have 2000b. But even the update to 2001 isn't helping. It doen't even conect but my system gives an error. I am running w2k so if somebody knows what this could be please tell me.

Do you have real installation problems or network problems ?
Because there are general network problems with ICQ, unable to connect etc.

I can't login too. I think ICQ banned many IP addresses. I able to use ICQ with https proxy...

Well it isn't about connection, but my system gives an error. I just installed trillian and now I am able to conect so I hope this one will work better.
