Yesterday I was talking to my youngest son's teacher and she told me my son told her I work online....... while I did not tell her exactly what I do, I did tell her that I did indeed work online and that I built websites. At any rate, she asked me would I do something for her and I said sure thing....... she then tells me that tomorrow, Friday, is National Child Abuse Prevention Day....... the entire month of April is in fact I found out.......
Folks there isn't alot of people that cover the vast amount of people on the Internet like we, as adult webmasters do....... so who else would I come to but Adult Webmasters. Being the victim of child abuse myself, I can't tell you how very many times I wished someone, anyone, would have stepped in and given me a hand and helped me out of the abuse I suffered almost on a daily basis.... I won't go into all that horror here, but what I am asking all of you to do...... or those who can afford it anyways..... is to go here:

and find a place somewhere in your vacinity and help with this situation. For every person that closes their eyes to the abuse these little people suffer, there is one more of them hurting...... BUT for every one of us that do NOT turn our heads in the faces of these tragedies, that is one more child that is safe from the abuse. So please let's all help these kids?
I am not saying I am the best parent in the world, I do some things wrong..... however, thru the abuse I suffered, I learned what NOT to do with my kids. and unless you have lived thru it, it's very hard to fathom the abuse some suffer.... and there are alot who have had it worse than me. I'd hate to know even one child has to grow up and think the way I do........ "My abuse taught me what NOT to do with my kids" that's a hell of a lesson to have to learn........
I don't get too damn emotional over a lot of things, but the abuse, whether it be sexual, emotional, physical, or whatever, of kids really rips at my heart. So do me a small favor and turn away from your PCs, give your kids a hug tomorrow (and everyday) and thank god they are not going thru what I and alo of other kids are having to go thru on this day!! And then help these people on this url I provided to help stop child abuse.
Ok, I am done........ this is in MY mind something that we can all do that will give something back........ just help ONE child and you have made a world of difference. They have a Chapter Locator on this site to help you find a place near you!!
