View Full Version : Am I the only one noticing this bug on AWI?

Every time I want to make a search with 2 or more words I get a "Connection Timed Out" error.

This is already happening for a long time, since Tim made some changes on this board.

Damn! It really pisses me.
The search feature is one of the most important things on a board and I can't believe that I'm the only one noticing this bug.

Or am I doing something wrong?

And btw, it only happens for searches on the general board.

It works for me. It takes awhile though. And I'm on DSL. If you're on dialup, I could see that it might time-out.

Nope. I'm on cable modem and the board is loading fast for me...

Are you sure you did a search with 2 words, with the "Match all search terms above" method and for the General Webmaster Chat?

Prob just because theres so much data in the archives and UBB is not specifically a SE so it might be time for some house cleaning.

Absolutely! I do it quite frequently and did it right after I read your post. I'm not sure what the problem is.

I tried searching, and it always takes 30 seconds plus to come back with search results. I agree with toker, probably too much in the archives, but who knows?
