Hey,have no experience what so ever in this,so need some help.
I'm just going to hook up two pc's with a 4 port hub(adding more comps later) so basically my question is does it matter what kind of hub I have depending on what dsl service I have or does it make any difference?
Thanks

Hi

All you need is a 10/100 Mb Hub
You also have 10 Mb hub's / switch
But the 10/100 is faster and the price is almost the same

Yep - just a simple SMC hub'll do, havent ever had a problem with mine, and I have 6 PCs connected and all online with different IPs this way, and the box was only $50!

I Like Money, if you buy a hub you will need 1 ip for each pc. Alot of isp's only offer 1 ip per user account. If that is true with your isp you will need an extra eithernet card and some inet sharing software.
