Just curious about why this thread http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/007666.html was closed. Don't wanna bash anybody, just curiosity. I thought about spam, but since a concept cannot be spam, I'm just wondering

It could be considered borderline spam. Problem is there are a lot of other adult webmaster resources out there. Allowing some people to promote their new adult resources on the board could possibly mean opening the floodgates to more serious spam.

What's the purpose of closing a spam thread?

I still don't get it... People will read it anyway, so the spammer gets what he wants.

I think you do it with threads where you don't know if you should send them to the spam board or not, so you just close it http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
