Strip clubs from my knowledge are under the same scrutiny as regular bars in terms of licensing for alcohol sales. Then you got the local laws which apply for nudity, such as is your state/province allowing lap dances and how far can they go. For example, in Quebec lapdances are perfectly fine, but apparently not allowed in Ontario. This kind of stuff really needs to be researched with your local state/provincial business office to determine local laws. Start by calling the business office (in Ontario its the Land and Registry office) and ask where you can get a list of by-laws for operating erotic clubs. That should get you in the right direction.

Well for one thing most places in the US require an entertainment license, liquer license, zone approval by county or city and many other things on the legal side. Its also a very hard biz unless you have great security and girls who will play by the rules and not get you busted for prostitution.
I worked in many clubs and i can tell you getting established can take quite a while. I have also seen some well established clubs go belly up after 3-4 years of success.

This http://www.adultstaffing.com/ would be quite a useful service if they didnt charge 16$ subscription.
Its a board where adult industry employers and job seekers can post to each other
Does anyone know where there is a board like this for free??
My advice would be to talk to someone who has run a stip club before me personaly Ive only worked in regular bars :(
Good luck with your little dream letcher ;) I hope you become bigger than hooters ;) lol
