I'm doing a bit of research into the content that people playing the tgp gallery scene buy.
When i make galleries from the content that i've previously bought, a big 200 image set only goes so far - you cannot use the same set again and again and again.
So, i'd say that sets designed specifically for gallery posters should be fairly small, perhaps 50pic max? or smaller?
What types of sets do you prefer? do you generally buy teaser sets, or perhaps more hardcore?
do you micro-niche, or just niche?
how big a factor is "sponsor content"? (do you infact buy content at all?) WOULD you buy content that xyzpaysite (that you promote) used in their tours/members area [so saying "see more inside" actually means they will see more inside].
(ie, would you be prepared to pay for "sponsor provided" content [maybe slightly subsidised]? Introducing such a system would result in the great conversions we all get with "exclusive sponsor material", but make it so that TGPs do not get bombarded with the same stuff)
What else influences your decisions?
I wanna know all about you guys :)
What would you change about the structure of content providers at the moment,
what sort of deals would get your juices flowing??
I'll start the brainstorming off:
I'd like to have a per image price, and be able to select on a per pic (or perhaps per 10 or 20 pic basis) which pictures to purchase.
So for example, i find a 100 pic shoot that i like. I surf all the thumbnails and select 20 pics that do for my immediate needs (a thumbnail gallery) - knowing that i can come back at any time and purchase more pics if i need.
good idea or not?
Heres another thought:
What about getting lots of small shoots of the same model/s done in the same period of time it would take to do a 200 image shoot?
So, you purchase "mini-shoots" of each model (ie perhaps enough for teaser -> mildly explicit, but over more scenes).
I can see problems here with logistics from the producer's side of view, but where there is a will, there is a way ;).
One work-around, would be to make compilations of existings shoots, using perhaps 10 clothed shots, 10 semi-naked shots, and 5 naked shots.
now THAT would be a nice idea :D
We're putting together a site aimed specifically at content for thumbnail gallery designers, the idea is to organise these types of compilations/deals for designers to take advantage of.
Tell me what you guys want, and lets see if we can get something jacked up.

Thanks!
