View Full Version : Content for TGP Galleries --> opinions

I'm doing a bit of research into the content that people playing the tgp gallery scene buy.

When i make galleries from the content that i've previously bought, a big 200 image set only goes so far - you cannot use the same set again and again and again.

So, i'd say that sets designed specifically for gallery posters should be fairly small, perhaps 50pic max? or smaller?

What types of sets do you prefer? do you generally buy teaser sets, or perhaps more hardcore?

do you micro-niche, or just niche?

how big a factor is "sponsor content"? (do you infact buy content at all?) WOULD you buy content that xyzpaysite (that you promote) used in their tours/members area [so saying "see more inside" actually means they will see more inside].

(ie, would you be prepared to pay for "sponsor provided" content [maybe slightly subsidised]? Introducing such a system would result in the great conversions we all get with "exclusive sponsor material", but make it so that TGPs do not get bombarded with the same stuff)

What else influences your decisions?

I wanna know all about you guys :)

What would you change about the structure of content providers at the moment,

what sort of deals would get your juices flowing??

I'll start the brainstorming off:

I'd like to have a per image price, and be able to select on a per pic (or perhaps per 10 or 20 pic basis) which pictures to purchase.

So for example, i find a 100 pic shoot that i like. I surf all the thumbnails and select 20 pics that do for my immediate needs (a thumbnail gallery) - knowing that i can come back at any time and purchase more pics if i need.

good idea or not?

Heres another thought:

What about getting lots of small shoots of the same model/s done in the same period of time it would take to do a 200 image shoot?

So, you purchase "mini-shoots" of each model (ie perhaps enough for teaser -> mildly explicit, but over more scenes).

I can see problems here with logistics from the producer's side of view, but where there is a will, there is a way ;).

One work-around, would be to make compilations of existings shoots, using perhaps 10 clothed shots, 10 semi-naked shots, and 5 naked shots.

now THAT would be a nice idea :D

We're putting together a site aimed specifically at content for thumbnail gallery designers, the idea is to organise these types of compilations/deals for designers to take advantage of.

Tell me what you guys want, and lets see if we can get something jacked up.

post here, or email me richard at gibhar.com

Thanks!

Rich. :)

definately

it would be kewl if you could link to a paysite using a certain "picture code", so for example, if you link to it with pics from model X , one or more pics of model X are actually in the tour (not complete new designs, but just a square pic that changes depending on which "model link code" you use)

maybe i'm just dreaming

Yep Kanga, we are thinking along these lines.

I feel there has to be some give and take from the promotors though - only the best of the best sponsor (hint hint) would implement this on any scale.

Paysites need to work harder :)

I have never used sponsor content, I figure the tgp owner would recognise it straight away and pass over the gallery, indeed, I'm seeing more and more sites saying in their rules no sponsor content.
As to what I buy, buying in bulk is obviously cheaper, but I like the the 80-100 pic sets, so I can get 3 or 4 galleries out of 1 set, not that I post them consecutively ;) but it also means I can get 2-3 AVS sites from the set.

I'm afraid that from a gallery posters point of veiw too many clothed/semi clothed shots is just a waste of money, were getting back to tgp rules (I post to a couple of tgp's who's rules have "guidelines" relating to content), the majority want skin not pretty jumpers, no matter how well filled ( excluding certain niche's ;) ). I've got to get my gallery listed, if I put out a 15 pic gallery with 5 pics of the model clothed, I'd fully expect my gallery to be refused or given a lower listing than if I'd posted a gallery of 15 with only 1 or 2 clothed pics.
LOL!
Like you didn't know that!

the pictures are one element to a gallery page, i'm pretty certain if you're using fresh pictures/models, and you design your pages well, you will get listed.

I'm also not talking about submitting 15 pics with a girl in a jumper :).

Personally, when i design my galleries, i do use clothed shots, and either do a strip tease if its a solo girl, or "tell a story" if its a hardcore scene.

hey, its only an idea :)

So fredicus, what sort of content deals would interest you?

FTP download
fresh galleries regularly
cheap

what it boils down to, is your content sufficiently different, and at the right price, for me to look at your site FIRST every time?
Might I add, I tend towards the fetish end of the spectrum, teen and centrefold are of limited interest to me, original panty, pantyhose, light bondage, and, just for contrast ;) , classy ebony are more my field.
