Dear Customer,
You will have noticed a drop in your traffic for part of Sunday ( 00:00 - 13:00 BST ). This was due to a total failure of the UK internet service provider PSI Net resulting in GIB’s internet access being totally shut down. The situation is now fully recovered.
Following the failure of the Sprint network in the US last week causing the temporary closure of the Madagascar route & subsequent access problems, this was particularly disappointing. However, I would like to assure all GIB clients that while we are working closely with our suppliers to provide redundant routing to our servers, failures of this nature are inevitable in any network &, unfortunately, totally beyond our control.
I thank you for your continued support
With best regards,
Steve
