Today i noticed that babes4free.com is selling their domain name http://www.babes4free.com/main.htm ...you can read it on the top of their page. He's selling both his pages. Call-kelly is selling her page for $90k. Absolut series sold for $100k. Does anyone really knows what the hell is going on? Is there some new law comming out for tgps or are they in some kinda trouble? I'm pretty sure money isn't the issue, is it?

They sell those sites because those are big names and listed at top #10 at stx , so they can have a 100k $ from a naive webmasters who think it worth it , then with their knowledge they can start another site from scratch , and easily get it to 100k at first with some help from their buddies , then grow it to the same size .
From all of this , they just switched to a different domain name , and earned 100k $ .
Sounds pretty worthed is it ?

It might be interesting to buy such a site if you can sell memberships but for some reason are not good with creating a high traffic site.

If You have cash and you can make the money back why wouldn't you buy a site?

elron is right,i have seen sites reaching 200k/day in less than a month without spending a fortune, but in order to earn $100k it's a loooong road.

builiding a site to 100k hits might not be that hard for the experienced webmaster like Elron.... but bringing a site at ST top 10 is nearly impossible. These big tgp's have been there forever, they are not only a script site with good layounts....
these are sites that have 1.500.000 hits a day. and about 100k daiy bookmarkers...
Surfers like these sites, and that's why they are doing so well.

TGP like call-kelly that gets 1.5M hits per day. will get around 600 millions hits next year. selling it for 90k is a bargain
I wish I had that kind of money :)

lol ! They just know they won't make 100k from that site before bw will cost higher than the signups ... turst me tgp traffic sucks hard time . I still get 300k of that shit daily and it really sucks . With the 100k they will probably start a legit buisness or a paysite but I'm sure theses guys won't make any tgps anymore =p

Babes4Free is not a TGP site, it's nothing more than a kind of CJ site - surfers click on some links, all lead to other sites, they move on and will never come back => NO bookmarkers and nearly no sign ups...

I have just visited the site and there is plenty of galleries listed.

If you are talking about the trade links in the bottom, yeah that is almost the only way to get fresh new traffic to a TGP, and it doesnt make it a nonTGP site in any way as all tgps are doing something like that.

babes4free is a content site, which is the same as a tgp. They just shave their galleries to get more traffic. Dre, I have a 30k tgp that probably makes more than your site :p So what if no one knows about it cause it doesn't have the huge amounts of traffic that your site does :)
