Clip Art is not CJ at all! There are links to other sites, but its totally different! NO BLIND LINKS at all man. I was in the free stuff business for about 2 years man. And it is nothing like CJ sites at all. People use scripts to trade their links as to how much they send and receive from a person, but they are not expensive. Like $100.

Anyways, there's more than just clip art cj sites. There's toplists, and clipart.com is a top list. The descriptions on the toplists are false. And it leads to clip art cj's.

NO, they are not CJ's, I used to fucking run these kind of sites man! NOT CJ at all! The only resemblense is they have pop ups! Trust me! They don't trade like CJs they don't have scripts like CJs! Well the toplists have loads of blind links, if they wanted to, they should throw in some cj's just for fun.

None of them, at least that I know of, have any real content. So they are basically jerking surfers around in a circle, which constitutes as a cj.

Anyways, if those aren't cj sites, I don't think that they could be considered toplists either, since they aren't in that kind of a format either. The toplists will say something like, grafixart.com, 200,000 free animated gifs.

nic, I clicked my ass off and all I ever found was more freaking clipart sites with more links. Now, to me, that is a CJ. If I hit a few trades, ok, but if I gotta bust out a CC to get some freaking clipart (I actually had to - I was losing my patience), then they are CJ. And they seem to work. Got me to pay for it. Too bad I lost my 50 gajillion clip arts CD I used to have.

Alright, here is another run down, here is what i get when i click around.

I start at Clipart.com, click on the #1 which leads me to http://www.absolutely-free-clipart.com/main5.html then i get a pop up, and see some other sites, then i go up to the top of their site where there is a navbar that says CLIP ART and i click there and go here http://www.absolutely-free-clipart.com/clip.html where there is plenty of FREE clip art! Get a pop up as I leave back to Clipart.com. I go to the second ranked site which is clipartconnection.com and same thing. I get some nice links to nice clip art sites and i got tons of free clip art from their top navbar! http://www.clipartconnection.com/clipart.html

ARE YOU GUYS BLIND? haha, I think if porn sites started doing this kind of trading our traffic would be SKY HIGH WITH EXCELLENT PRODUCTIVITY! but, nah, we are way to lazy!

They use just regular scripts to count outclicks and inclicks that you can find at any cgi resources page.

I think that you guys think that these sites are CJ because you see LINKS and POP UPs. Some clip art sites are just directories or sites offering content! These are very useful in the industry and you can make a lot of money but you gotta have traffic. Man, if any of you want to go into that non adult industry type thing definitely hit me up on ICQ cause I'm looking for a partner, cause it is a lot of work and cannot be done alone! Trust me! I know this from experience. I used to stay up all night and all day sitting there doing content and reviewing shit for hours! Not a one man job, a few of the big guys have office buildings and stuff with full time employees!

To me, it's CJ (circa adult web 1995-96) because there are plenty of clipart sites with no content and just links to other clipart sites. There are not a lot of sites with all blind links on them, but in 95-96 when adult CJ started, there weren't nearly as many blind links as there are today either. It took a while to develop and went through many metamporheses. Many of the Cj sites I remember were very similar to these clip art sites.

Now a lot of the 1996 era CJ sites actually HAD content .. but it was a tiny little link somewhere like click here for 10 free pics in font size = -3 .. after a bunch of blind links.

to me is very similar to 1995 CJ's .. they actually have content .. but it's a link at the bottom after all the links that try to get you to go somewhere else. i mean, you're quite likely to click on that "Click Here to Enter" link fast before ever seeing THEIR content. Very 1995 porn CJ to me.

I surfed about 5 clipart sites in a row without ever actually finding clipart. There are a bunch of clipart sites that have just 5 links, each one going to other sites, and no content.

Clips Ahoy has a link that says
"Finally! A Site with actual clipart.."

and i think that means the owner of Clips Ahoy thinks there are a lot of sites without content.

Anyhow .. maybe their industry will go through something like ours .. with jerkier and jerkier sites .. maybe there's something about human nature which will push it in that direction. I don't know.

Nic, some of the clip art sites do have content, now that I look at them. But most are cj's, or just top lists with a lot of fake descriptions. Very few have real content.

But anyways, an adult cj site can trade with a site with content, so why couldn't a clip art site do the same?

Okay, well here's what I think now.

The clip art sites with actual content kind of work like TGP's, in the sense that a lot of their traffic comes off bookmarkers. But, to increase that traffic, they also trade with other clip art sites, to increase the number of visitors flowing through their sites, and of course bookmarkers. Most of the other sites are cj and top list sites, with no content. Maybe they don't have blind links, but they are just jerking surfers around.

Anyways, all someone needs to do now is start a cagp, clip art gallery post. Who knows, it might not be that hard to start the hun of clip art sites. But the only difficult part of that, at this point, is actually getting people to submit clip art for free.

Anyways, that's my two cents, and I definately see this clip art thing going down the same route as adult sites, especially if they are very profitable.
