I can't see myself being in the industry for anything longer than 5 more months or so. What about all of you, don't you hate being an adult webmaster, when do you plan on quiting?

quiting? My momma didn't raise a quiter! I've been in this since 1996, and chances are will stay in it until I'm too old and cripled to sit at my desk, and type on the keyboard

I started in 1995 with adultsex.com, no intention to sell the domain, so I guess I will be an adult webmaster for an other while.
What's better than sex and computers?

******************************

http://www.exitkiller.com/affiliates.htm

Tastefulbabes "What about all of you, don't you hate being an adult webmaster"?

well, no, Tastefulbabes - i DON'T hate being an adult webmaster. it's nice to pick my own schedule, i like designing pages, and i meet nice people. it's always exciting to find a new sponsor with kewl content, and it rocks to check your stats when you get up and find new signups.

two of my best sponsors changed their signup pages in december and my ratio more than doubled. but hasbro just changed ALL their star wars figures light sabres so that they suck without any beta testing. larger companies doing things without testing them is not confined to the adult industry.

as long as you work for yourself, you will find stupidity at every level

i do have a non-adult project in the works, and unlike adult stuff, this will take at least 6 months to finish - and then we have to start advertising. but i'll probably keep working adult for a while - i'm used to it ;-)

I'm officially leaving in a couple months too. Lasted longer in this biz than I thought I would. But I guess a combination of being scammed, stiffed out of money, and bad mothed ran me out a lot earlier than I should have been.

Tasteful, hit me up on icq please, we need to talk.

Leaving the adult biz and get a normal job to make a small percentage of you what you make now by working 40 hours a week for it??? Hrm...
As long as this makes me money im not quiting it...
I'd love to get more stability tho.
You never know what yer gonna make next month.
