I'd like to buy exit traffic - where is the best source to go to. Should I deal directly with webmasters or is there a reliable intermediary? Thanks ever so much!

You could ask webmasters directly and set up a deal with them, but if it was me I would go through a broker that way you will get stats etc and a fixed deal plus you would get traffic from several sources.
