Many TNPs do not accept galleries hosted at web1000.com, so be careful if u use this host to host ur galleries...
btw, can anyone tell me why web1000.com is auto.-declined by some tnps?

I used to review galleries for GoPostal TGP, and we declined web1000 galleries because they dropped pop-up consoles on pages after they generated a certain number of hits. Big no-no in the TGP world.

Erosvillage is also showing up banned at more and more TGPs now. Not sure why, but watch out if you are using them. Also I've seen several TGPs not taking erotism because they are so slow.

Pretty much I've found that there are no freehosts that aren't banned somewhere or other. Even Porncity is banned at some big TGPs.

I host movies on hostonfly, which has worked great for me but a few weeks ago they kicked off a few big bandwidth hogs who apparently were not getting enough clicks for the host. As a result of course HOF got promptly banned by Direct Porn and probably some other TGPs.

Another host I've had good luck with is Porncity, but you can't get an address there now unless you promote only their sponsors. Though sometimes you can get somebody to give you one by asking sweetly on the BBS. PC is the ONLY free host that Libraryofthumbs will list now, I think. Problem is, too high a percentage of free-host webmasters are deceiving the TGPs, apparently, and Humbolt (Library webmaster) says other TGPs may start refusing freebies as well.

Globalporn has been good for my pix (no movies allowed) and I haven't seen them banned anywhere.

Forget ANYTHING owned by ADULTCANDY (Canada) -- do a Whois at Internic before you sign up. I had sites on two of their hosts -- cheerleaders.youngandwild and virgin.schoolbabes. As soon as one of my pages started getting several thou a day I saw nothing but 404s and lost off all my hits. Assholes never responded to emails.

Similar deal with all the Sextracker hosts. Last year I had movie sites on freepictures, hardcore-hotels and sexspaces, all ST free hosts. Every one of them either cancelled videos or suddenly reduced permissible filesize -- with about one day notice. So scads of webmasters were left with no content and lost weeks of work. That's one reason all ST freehosts are banned at most big tgps. Then they had the chutzpah to be imperious and self-righteous when I protested, as though they owed nothing to the people who invested their time and creativity to generate all the traffic ST is so proud of.

Moral of the story: do not put all your pics in one free basket. Mutley is absolutely right.

just wanted to let you in on sexyplace.com. They started not long ago, they have plenty of bandwith, not banned anywhere, not too much banners. 15k for eroticvillage.com. Wow that is very overpriced. I look at domains not worth shit (unless it is like porno.com, sex.com, etc..). If they don't get a lot type ins they really aren't worth shit. I mean look at al4a.com. Who would think that would be a good domain? It is what you make of your site.

Comment about free hosts. Not to sound mean, but don't some of you get the picture. If they weren't making money there wouldn't be free hosts. Find a host, pay for your bandwidth, and you will make money. You will see.

I would say it is very important, that your Domain is easy to remember! The surfers come the first time to al4a and they get what they want. girlz, girlz, girlz. When they wanna play with their dick the next time they think "ummm - there was a good domain... al4a" easy to remember.

Porrno.com is worth much less than $500. That domain is horrible, absolutely horrible. I had an offer for eroticvillage.com a few months back for $9,000. I said no thanks. I would say no thanks to that today as well, as the name is in an elite class.

Porrno.com is not a "horrible" domain name. Mispellings like porrno lead to targeted type-ins just like JJJ from pornno.com gets type-ins. Type-ins = $$$

But at the end of the day, it IS what you do with the site that counts.

As an extreme example, you could make up a word, spend millions on promotion, and have a good domain name.

Sure, you want eroticvillage as opposed to boringoldplainvillage.com, but i truly believe that the best domains are the catchiest, which are often quirky domains.

Africanteens.com is worth the $100 at the most. Do not become upset and angered to hear the truth. I did not say this to spark any of your internal demons. I was speaking from domain value knowledge that I have acquired over the years, after buying and selling countless domains, not to mention observing what other domains go for.

By the way for all of you who are waiting for .com domain names to go out of style, since they are all taken. You would have better odds to hope for the sun to not set tomorrow, because .com domain names are here to stay. Twenty-five years from now sex.com will be worth $500 million dollars, business.com will be worth $1 billion dollars, and internet.com will be worth $10 billion dollars. Don't believe me? Give me a buzz in twenty-five to apologize for not listenting to me twenty-five years ago. Do not be in a rush to sell any of your .com domain names. Buy all of the .net domain names you can too, those will rise steadily as well. Instead of investing $10,000 into Microsoft on Monday because they are so low right now, go invest it into 142+ good 2-year registration .net domain names, as you will be one rich person in two years.

If you find a great .com name available, and register it through them, what makes you so sure they won't register it themselves? They are in it for the $$$ too. Stick with NetworkSolutions for 100% guaranteed satisfaction.
