Since I see a lot CJ webmasters can program CGI and php3 too I was wondering how to do tat. I udnerstand it might be years of studing and stuff, but í think i'm in the right age to start to learn that. I would like to know where I should start, what language, what program to use (probably notebook?) and wether I should buy a book or not.
I don't even know the difference between the script nyet, I only know how to install a CGI and some little codes of Visual Basic...

Check out http://www.devshed.com/Server_Side/PHP/Introduction/

yea go get a book.
Internet resources are ok and all, but i find it really hard to manage loads of windows and stuff when i am coding.
Also, its easier to read a paper book than an online book.
-------------------------------------------
Books i have:
Programming Browser Based Apps with PHP (McGraw Hill) - pretty good for PHP, not many books out there..
MySQL /mSQL (O'reilly)- Good start to databases for the web.
Writing Apache Modules with Perl/C (O'reilly) - essential for learning mod_perl
The book i learnt perl from was Perl from the Ground Up (McMillan). But its not the best out there, take a look at the O'reilly series as they are the dog's bollocks.
Also, i dont know how good your *nix/server knowledge is.
Good start for RedHat is the Learning RedHat linux by o'reilly.
You might also want to take a look at the apache webserver in more detail if you are thinking of doing some big fat applications, esp if you want to code super fast porn modules using mod_perl.
(No, i dont get commision from O'reilly http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif )
C is good for cgi in terms of speed, but a well coded apache perl module can be its equal.
Good luck.
Richard.

I must agree books are the way to go. You can find most things you need on the net but its the hard way of doing it at the moment.
Read the reviews at amazon.com .... hmmm where is my referrer code for them ... don't think I've ever used it http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

thank you very much for your http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/cool.gif replies. I really appreciate it http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/cool.gif
i suggest you first study some programming basics like pascal or so.
If you wanna do it in good level, CGI interface is not the way to start. Assembler book might help if you want to write effective programs for high traffic sites.
PS i like books too. my 2 cents here
