BLIND-IO hack.

Good morning.

There is rumour spreading that recently a site running Blind-io was hacked, and the script ripped.

Not talked to Dan/Mat yet, or know whos site was hacked (could even have been ours).

How secure are the CJ scripts? could they be used to exploit any security holes, or indeed create any?

It could be bullshit, but just letting you know that maybe someone has found something in a script that could be bad.

Hi,

I think it's time to put some water on the fire.

Alright first of all I'm in contact with every webmaster using Blind-IO and I can tell you that none of them ever told me that they were hacked & that it was because of the script.

Bio has been designed with speed & security in mind, this is what it achieves and I really don't see how somebody could hack into it.

Alright now for ripping the code, I'd like to see that. Right you can copy the scripts, but since they're compiled they would run only on the same type of computer/os that they were copied from. Same thing if you disassemble it. Even if someone would have source code, it's a pain in the ass to install with mysql & everything. Ppl were having troubles installing the old UCJ and they only had to install a cronjob and play with some paths; imagine now if they'd also need to compile a script, compile, configure & install mysql, and make it work...

The script & reputation is solid as rock. Somebody who isn't happy of our success is trying to spread bad words about us. Rumors are rumors, it's like when a guy claimed to be the webmaster of book-mark.com and wanted to make a cj site out of it.

A reputation is hard to build & easy to destruct..

Note: UCJ is great for my other sites cause it is virtually no matenince. But for someone who wants to squeeze every possible surfer. Blindio is hard to beat..
Im So Impressed By This Script Im Still in Awe.
